Friday Favorites - Backyard Summer Fun
Summer always gives us a great excuse to replenish our playtime toy stash. It keeps the kids outside and having good old fashioned summer fun! In this season especially, while many parents are working at home and with limited summer camps available, we’re thinking extra hard on this topic - stay tuned for an exciting announcement related to all things SUMMER! We know we’ll need to create a lot of memories in our own backyards this year, so we rounded up a list of our favorites, to keep our families active, smiling and having a blast together. Remember to tag us as you #gowanderwild for your chance to be featured. Have fun!
\ Carrie’s Castle Sidewalk Chalk Set by Twee. Build it, chalk it, and do it all again. We love the creativity this little set inspires for the skilled builders and budding artists in our family.
\ Spike Ball Rookie. Have you heard of Spike Ball yet?! It’s a WHOLE thing. Inspire your kids with the videos on their instagram feed and then send them out to play!
\ Rainbow Blob Water Toy. Water fun, jumping fun, energy burner. Plus, it’s a rainbow - what more can we say?
\ Rocket Copters Slingshots. We have had these for 3 summers now, and they still provide hours of entertainment! You can launch them after dark, for an exciting light show, too.
\ OgoDisk Mini Game. We love counting how many we can get in a row! Keep a competition going throughout the summer - each day we try to beat our score from the day before.
\ Swingball Soccer Game. When you can’t play with your team, this is the perfect training tool to keep kids involved. How many times can you kick it, before it touches the ground?
\ Swurfer Lemon Slice Swing. The only thing sweeter than a giant swing is a giant lemon slice swing! This reminds us of the lemonade we’ll be sipping all summer long.
\ Mighty Fantasy Fort Set. We love anything that encourages creativity and pretend play! With this set you can build almost anything, from a police station to grocery store and and almost anything in between.
