Friday Favorites - Homeschool Essentials

We're back for another edition of Friday Favorites! This week we're talking Homeschool Essentials. We know many of you are considering homeschool or virtual classrooms, so we've compiled our list of favorite homeschool supplies that will help your family get the job done in a fun and organized way. In addition to your classic school supplies, we found a few favorites that helped us be successful in our home classroom this past spring. In a world where we feel like we should be prepared for anything, we hope this is helpful to your families should you find your family remote learning this fall.

\ Boon Multi-Room OrganizerKeeping any and all supplies within reach saves time and keeps us organized. Get each of your children setup with their own set of supplies to keep the learning flowing easily and seamlessly from Math to Social Studies to Art.

\ A Desk. Having a dedicated learning space to call their own can have a tremendous impact on focus and attention span. Our kids seemed to work harder and more efficiently when given their own space, similar to a classroom environment.

\ Smencils Scented Pencils. Sometimes you just need to up the fun-factor when it comes to learning. These are a fun tool to use for a reward chart or just to give kids that extra motivation to get the job done.

\ Simplified Teacher Planner. We may not be the actual teacher, but there is no doubt that the organization required to take on remote learning is intense. This helps to keep track of it ALL and keep our kids on track.

\ Electric Pencil Sharpener. It’s motivation to keep working hard. It’s a brain break. It’s fun! This was one of the most used supplies in our remote learning setup this past Spring.

\ Wanderwild Back to School Goals Printable. No matter where your learning takes place, we love teaching our kids about how to set goals for the coming year. Be sure to download our free printable to start inspiring your kids today!

\ Dry Erase Board - An important place for keeping reminders that everyone can see, working out those long division math problems are just a couple of the reasons why this is a must have in our home classroom. This one gets bonus points for being cute!

\ Desk Chair. It’s ergonomic, it’s comfortable and it allows some healthy fidgeting. This little chair helps kids take ownership of their learning space and work hard each day.
