How is it that we're approaching the end of another school year?!
In the next couple of weeks, parents, students and teachers will be looking forward to the last days of learning. It’s been a long school year to say the least and we think everyone could use a little break. We were all met with such uncertainty this school year. Some students went in person, others stayed remote. Families had to scramble their schedules. Masks were worn, not worn and worn again. Desks were separated. Barriers were put up. Parents became teachers and students became even more resilient than they already are.
Getting through this school year took a lot of patience, grace and forgiveness for one another and the situations we were all put into. So, as the summer months approach, let’s all take a minute to let out that big breath we’ve been holding in. We made it and we made it through together. As we reflect back, through the many challenges there were also many wonderful moments that came out of the chaos. Communities became stronger, support for teachers grew bigger, and families and friends banned together more than ever to support each other. All of this, we can be thankful for.
